Mutually exclusive means if lower limit and upper limit is taken then in next case the lower limit should not contain the upper limit of first for example in this case the interval is from 1-5 5-10 so,it should be 1-5 and 6-10 i.e second elememt's lower limit should be atleast greater than first element's upper limit.and by exhaustive we means all possible options should be there here only upto 30-40 is taken there is no option of above 40 hope you get it .Thanks
